The company is run and managed by Amador R. Torrealba, who has more than 35 years of work experience in the international reinsurance business, of which more than 32 years spent in the London (Lloyd's) market.

 

Amador started his reinsurance career in 1984 as an international technical accounts technician and then he progressed as a Treaty underwriter in his native Venezuela for Latin American, Iberian Peninsula & Caribbean business, after he finished his College Studies in Business Administration in Glen Ellyn - Illinois, USA.

During the year 1991, he moved to London and has worked for several Lloyd's brokers mainly in developing/producing and placing in/reinsurance programmers from Latin America, the Caribbean & the Iberian Peninsula and in keeping long-lasting business relationships with his clients and underwriters. Amador has always been willing to assume responsibilities. He can make decisions and he can teach, learn, and share knowledge with/from others. He has good negotiation skills and always manages to build and maintain business relationships.

 

Amador has a good knowledge of the Global insurance industry and has high-level contacts with Senior Underwriters and high-ranking executives in the London, Europe, and Latin American markets. 

 

Amador's main hobbies and interests include good food, scotch, and wine. He loves his family time and to play golf and he cares about animal welfare and has two cats. He loves London. He follows world affairs and financial market news. He also participates in Masonic duties as a Freemason and Companion as recognized by UGLE. He follows Newcastle United FC - English Premier League.
